Ericsson Hungary is currently seeking a RAN Integration Engineer to join our Advanced RAN Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, implementing, and verifying the configuration and integration of an Ericsson Radio node, network, or system.

The scope of work for this role may include scenarios such as new product and services introduction, demonstration, integration, or upgrade. The individual will have direct contact with customers and will represent Ericsson globally as well as in Hungary. Occasional travel abroad could be part of the role (less than 10%), or night work may be required in the case of software upgrades or rehoming.

What you will do:

• Plan and execute the implementation of product configuration and integration work.
• Prepare system tests, module tests, and acceptance tests.
• Identify and drive improvements.
• Perform post-project activities (next-day support may be required).
• Verify, prepare, and execute software upgrades.
• Perform scripting and coding tasks.
• Occasional global travel to customer premises or events may be necessary.
• Experience with legacy technologies such as 2G/3G RAN rehoming is an advantage.

You will bring:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) is required.
• Freshly graduated applicants are also welcome to apply.
• Experience in the telecom sector or a background in IT telecom, including knowledge of Unix/Linux, IP routing, etc.
• Domain experience in Radio Access Network Technologies, IP, Automation and Cloud Infrastructure.
• A customer-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and research.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Hungarian is a must.
• Strong planning and organizing skills
