In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and maintenance of DevOps practices and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes to ensure high performance, security and availability of banking applications and infrastructure
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and testing using CICD tools like Bitbucket and Grafana
- Monitor banking applications and infrastructure using tools like ELK stack and proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth operations and positive customer experience
- Optimize application performance, manage capacity and improve efficiency through data analysis using databases like PostgreSQL and SQL
- Collaborate with development teams to establish coding best practices, develop automation scripts using languages like Python and Groovy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum (3-5) years of experience in DevOps, SRE or related engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with CICD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins and JFROG)
- Hands-on experience on Monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, ELK stack
- Strong knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL and programming languages like Python and Groovy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Strong knowledge in Linux platform.
