A Snapshot of Your Day

As Team Lead for Protection, Automation, and Control in Denmark you will manage a team of System Design Engineers, Protection, and Substation Automation Engineers and Technical Bid and project Managers. Together with your team you build technical designs and solutions for digital substations (control, protection, metering, etc.) in High Voltage Substations.

Delivery of state-of-the art technology as well as digital substation concepts are the focus areas within your team. You will be responsible for the hiring, development, resource planning, mentoring and advising a team of diverse professionals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manager for a diverse team of technical specialists.
• Resource Management for the team, ensuring productivity and efficiency
• Supporting Grid Automation bids and projects with technical expertise of the team to achieve business targets about Order Intake and Revenue
• Ensure delivery of the Engineering Work packages in within the project timeline, budget and high quality
• Competence Management: Identify abilities needed for future business. Identify possible gaps and develop training and certification plans
• Interaction with utility and industry customers acting in the local market. Analyzing of customer requirements. Optimizing of our solutions according to the market requirements.
• Close cooperation with Bid Management, Project Management and the international PAC network

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, automation or a similar field
• >12 years of work experience in substation control and protection systems in energy transmission and distribution including renewable integration
• Profound technical knowledge and long-standing working experience in automation technology, digital substation and grid integration
• Leading authority who helps to strengthen the organization for long term success
• Several years of experience as an engineering manager or project lead with strategic direction.
• Innovative open approach to explore new paths
• Technical and Business type verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English language
