Residential Supervisor II - On Grounds Program - (250004NC)
The Southeast Area On Grounds Adult Residential Program is seeking dynamic human service professional and exceptional and experienced residential administrator to direct the day to day operation of 24/7 staffed adult group living environment within a 47 bed State operated program serving the Southeast Area.
As Residential Supervisor, this individual will maintain a therapeutic atmosphere, a strength based and person centered focus, and provide recovery oriented supports to individuals with chronic mental illness by demonstrating knowledge of DMH regulations regarding Adult Residential programs; program procedures; and coordination of all aspects of the program with assigned staff which includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that each person served needs are met; that Individual Action Plans are developed and followed by staff; that appropriate and timely documentation occurs; and that safe staffing is in place. The selected candidate will provide supervision of MHW’s and LPN’s assigned to the residence; will assign work and will evaluate the performance of assigned staff.
Under the supervision of the MAP Director, the Residential Supervisor will also provide medication administration supports to individual’s served assuring that DPH and DMH policies for a MAP Certified Program are implemented and followed across all shifts. Assures that individuals served receive needed medical and psychiatric care, assures the implementation and documenting of medication administration consistent with MAP policies, assures that staff on all shifts files and reports all medication occurrences as required by MAP policy, and that staff seeks consultation from the MAP Director and the program's RN MAP Consultant as needed.
Please Note: The position is 40 hours per week on the day shift. The selected candidate will work 8:00AM-4:30PM. The days off are Sunday and Saturday.

On Grounds Program is part of the Taunton/Attleboro Site that transitions clients from an inpatient setting to a more independent community living setting. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
At least four years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in counseling, guidance, teaching or therapeutic services for individuals with developmental disabilities, of which at least two years must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Based on assignment, travel may be required. Those employees who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s license or the equivalent from another state.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
