JOB TITLE: Solution Project Manager - Contractor

PURPOSE OF POSITION
As a leader in downstream petroleum automation, GVR delivers advanced digital solutions to fuel retailers and home base customers. This new role of Solution Project Manager is introduced to manage the software development lifecycle of automation solutions, focusing on design, build, integration, testing, and validation stages.
The Solution Project Manager is responsible for driving the delivery of automation and digital projects from requirements gathering through development, internal QA, customer UAT, pilot execution, and sign-off. This role collaborates closely with internal product, engineering, QA, and customer teams while ensuring timelines, quality, and scope are achieved prior to deployment and rollout.

As per PMO governance policies. Escalations and decisions outside software scope are referred to the PMO Manager

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education/ Achievements
Required
Degree in IT, Software Engineering, or related field
Preferred
PMP, Agile/Scrum certification
Experience/Knowledge
Required
5+ years of experience in software project management or solution delivery
Strong familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall models
Preferred
Experience in automation or digital transformation in the petroleum sector
Multinational or multi-country project experience
Specific Skills

Experience managing UAT and pilot phases

Bilingual preferred (English + French or Arabic)
