Job Summary (Simplified):
The IT Project Manager at Fabricut will lead and coordinate a range of Information Technology projects across departments, including system development, feature enhancements, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives. This role requires oversight of project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and communication with stakeholders, while driving organizational change and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex, cross-functional IT projects from start to finish.
- Ensure transparency across all project activities, including scope, risks, issues, dependencies, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct cost analyses and track project ROI.
- Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Support change management efforts and continuous process improvement.
- Participate in executive steering committees and assist with PMO portfolio management.
Additional Duties
- Provide training and support to project teams.
- Act as liaison across IT functions to maintain communication flow.
- Perform basic business analysis and assist in vendor/system selections.
- Offer guidance to IT leadership as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years in full-lifecycle project management; continuous improvement experience a plus.
- Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong project planning, execution, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with methodologies such as PMBOK, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet, and MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities.
- Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to manage change and lead process improvement initiatives.
