About the Job

As a Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in consulting, creating, and implementing concepts to further develop and expand the Lifetime application. You will work onsite in Hungary, collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project objectives and business needs.

What you do

  • Consult and create concepts for the replacement of the "ABS-Batch zOS" release procedure and extend the functionality of the Lifetime application
  • Develop and implement technical infrastructure for the new cloud environment, ensuring seamless integration and performance
  • Document and implement the defined infrastructure, monitor, troubleshoot, and update the infrastructure and procedural tools
  • Provide advice on software architecture, technical implementation, runtime environment, and connection to other processes/tools
  • Develop and implement concepts for release management, audit-proof archiving, approval of artifacts, and migration paths
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of project milestones

What you bring

  • Proven track record in software development with over 6 years of experience, degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spring, Angular, REST, and scripting languages like JSON, YAML, JavaScript.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools including HELM, Kubernetes, GitHub-Actions/Jenkins, and platforms like Linux, AWS, K8S.
  • Database knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL, with additional skills in Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; German language skills are highly desirable.
  • Experience working on projects remotely in Germany and Hungary, with occasional onsite visits for workshops and planning.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
