???? Role Overview
As the Regional Business Excellence Lead, you will lead initiatives to elevate financial performance, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure strategic alignment within our automotive programs across the region. Your strategic vision and leadership will be crucial in aligning cross-functional teams to achieve excellence in financial processes and systems, grounded in Principle Based Management (PBM).
????️ Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to craft and execute financial strategies that enhance profitability and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough financial automotive TIER 1 program analyses to detect trends, variances, and opportunities for enhancement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, emphasizing sound economic thinking and risk management.
- Forecasting: Develop and sustain automotive TIER 1 program forecasts, applying rigorous analysis to project financials, enabling informed decision-making and value creation.
- Process and Cost Optimization: Implement and oversee a robust cost control system, monitoring program costs including labor, materials, equipment, and services to ensure alignment with forecasts and strategic plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Program Management, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, Sales, and Supply Chain to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, leveraging PBM principles.
- Training & Development: Mentor and train teams on best practices in financial management and business excellence methodologies.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives, ensuring the smooth implementation and adoption of new financial processes and systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize PBM to identify process improvement and cost-saving opportunities, driving innovative solutions that enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
???? Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CCP) preferred; Master’s degree advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial management, business excellence, or related roles within automotive Tier 1 environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
