About the Role

Site Reliability Engineer II will be closely working with senior SREs and other stakeholder across geographies on their platform requirements using MS Azure. They will be responsible for assisting teams with their queries and issues related to Azure services being used.

The candidate must have experience in Azure services like Azure Active Directory or MS Entra ID, Azure Storage Services, ADF, Databricks, Unit Catalog, etc.

The candidate must also work on related technologies and platforms like Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.

About the Team:

  • Team is tech hub for rest of the organization and hence working across multiple domains – Healthcare, Insurance, Government etc.
  • Team primarily works on data extraction, manipulation, loading and analytics using technologies like Python, PySpark, Bigdata – HPCC, language ECL, Talend, Azure tools (Data Synapse, ADF etc), Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple geographies to understand their platform requirements and provide solutions.
  • Create and maintain various resources and group built using various Azure Services.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Unity Catalog and GitHub Actions.
  • Perform unit testing and performance testing using related tools.

Requirements:

  • Should have 3-5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of SDLC process like requirement gathering, design, implementation (Coding), testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in requirement gathering and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud and various Azure services.
  • Continuously monitor the health and performance of production systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and reduce
  • Respond to and resolve system outages and incidents.
  • manual tasks.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure new features and updates meet reliability and performance standards.
  • Must have a positive attitude and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
