We're looking for a dynamic and driven leader to spearhead our Scale R&D group across Dubai and Israel. This is your chance to shape the future of tech, guiding a talented team of multi-disciplined engineers to new heights. This pivotal role puts you in the driver's seat, where you'll not only oversee critical engineering processes and champion Agile-Scrum best practices, but also build a high-performing team of Rapyders. This role reports to the General Manger of the Business Unit Scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage R&D groups and multidisciplinary Scrum Teams, focusing on both professional and personal development.
  • Oversee the product's technical aspects, including integrations and governance, ensuring that the necessary technical skills are in place and best practices are followed.
  • Develop long-term roadmaps and short-term plans for product delivery, working closely with the product team.
  • Support the growth and development of team members within the organization.
  • Manage cross-functional technical activities and projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in R&D, with at least 6 years in a development managerial position in a relevant domain.
  • Previous experience leading Agile teams.
  • Experience with Node.js, Python, MySQL, and React technologies.
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven experience in hiring and building multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, people coaching, communication, and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-site development.
  • Experience developing enterprise-grade software products.
  • Ability to inspire people to innovate.
  • B.A. or B.A. & Sc. in Computer Science.
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written (additional languages are an advantage).
