Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in managing data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Work with team members to develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand and address data requirements.
- Contribute to efforts focused on data quality and security.
- Learn from experienced team members and apply knowledge in day-to-day tasks.
- Participate in the optimization of data processes.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and industry best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team.
- Implement and maintain the Database Design.
- Create Database Objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
- Write Database Stored Procedures, views, functions and triggers.
- Assist Developers with Database activities/Development
- Tune Database queries/scripts
- Monitor Application related jobs and data replication activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in data engineering
- Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus
