The Customer Relationship and Marketing Tech (CRMT) team is building the next generation of personalized customer engagement. CRMT owns the in-house Prime Video outbound messaging platform, which powers end-to-end campaign planning, targeting, and message delivery at global scale. This system supports billions of messages annually, driven by experimentation, audience intelligence, and content personalization. As we expand our impact, we are investing in scalable, reliable data infrastructure to support operational excellence and empower downstream teams with trustworthy, actionable data.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer II to join the CRMT team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers Prime Video’s customer engagement and marketing strategies. You will design scalable pipelines and orchestrated workflows, own critical datasets, and ensure data accuracy, performance, and availability across systems. Your work will directly support downstream applications across analytics, experimentation, and machine learning use cases, enabling smarter targeting, personalization, and measurement.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
