What you will do:

The Associate Marketing Manager role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the annual operating plan and the Tillamook long range omni-shopper marketing plan, including eCommerce, with our regional grocery customers, including but not limited to Meijer, HEB, Giant Eagle, and Sprouts.

This role sits inside the Marketing function at Tillamook.

The expectation is that this role will partner heavily with our internal Sales team and key internal marketing contacts.

Here’s a day in the life:

Regional Grocery Customers

Develop omni-shopper marketing strategy for regional grocery customers (Includes: Meijer, HEB, Giant Eagle, Sprouts, and others) Duties include:

  • Manage and maximize omni-shopper marketing budget, coordinating shopper investment with trade plans to deliver one plan to retailers
  • Owns the geo/account Omni-Shopper marketing plan from strategy development to overseeing execution and analytics
  • Develop proposed Omni-Shopper plans for all new item sell-in retail meetings and attend as needed with the Sales Leads
  • Own the relationship with the Mars Agency, Tillamook Sales and Marketing internal teams
  • Ensure coordination and cross-pollination of all marketing efforts across sales channels and retail environments
  • Research new Omni-shopper and retail marketing opportunities, competitor research, creating marketing presentations, and other marketing related tasks
  • Syncs with Marketing and CMI (Customer Marketing Insights) as Omni-Shopper lead for regional grocery

eCommerce Strategy

Own the ecom strategy with key Regional Grocery Accounts to execute the paid search strategy to drive digital penetration growth. Duties include:

  • Manage and maximize the paid search plan and budget at key Regional Grocery Channels
  • Own the relationship with the Flywheel agency team
  • Keep the Tillamook Sales and Marketing informed on paid search and ecom results

Other:

  • Provide support to the Sr Marketing Manager, Omni Shopper, for major projects, account maintenance, and upskilling.
  • Assist with quarterly reporting, channel excellence, and other marketing planning deliverables required of the Integrated Marketing Team.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, data science or related field.
  • 3+ years of omni-shopper marketing, ecommerce, or marketing experience. Agency, Brand, and RMN (Retail Media Networks) experience is preferred.
  • Occasional night or weekend work.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public; act as a team player while collaborating with diverse skillsets across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent project management skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong detail orientation with ability to manage ambiguity
  • Demonstrate an interest in strategic planning, evolving processes, team building, and continuously improving skillsets.
  • Overall comfort with computer systems is a must. Advanced skills in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a plus. Familiarity with existing RMNs (Retail Media Networks) structures, dashboards, and reporting structures would be beneficial. Knowledge of paid search and other ecom levers is required.
