We are looking for a Machine Operator who is looking to learn and grow within an organization. #1939ST
Duties:
- Load and unload parts onto pallets or fixtures for CNC machines.
- Operate pallet changers, which automatically swap workpieces in and out of machines to reduce downtime.
- Ensure correct part orientation and secure clamping to prevent movement during machining.
- Inspect parts visually or with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to check for obvious defects or misalignment.
- Follow setup instructions or work orders to match parts with correct pallet stations and machining programs.
- Support machine uptime by prepping the next batch of parts while the machine is running.
Skills Required:
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read job travelers
- Understanding of shop safety practices
- Familiarity with CNC machining (at a basic level)
- Sanding, grinding, drill press experience would be a huge plus.
- 20-30 lbs lifting every 5 minutes at most.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $21.95
