Job Objective:

  • Support internal material transfer by booking systematically, transporting, staging and stacking.
  • Load and offload outbound/inbound transports using Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT's).

Principal Activities:

  • Safely operate PIT's (Tugger, stand-up and sit-down forklifts) in order to deliver materials (raw and finished).
  • Effectively communicate with team leaders and supervisors regarding problems with the material flow, absence of parts, and safety concerns.
  • Use hand-held scanners to verify correct warehouse locations prior to transporting parts, and to order and retrieve parts from the warehouse.
  • Performs PIT inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order and follows all safety guidelines for the work area.
  • Determine part and material availability and report shortages.
  • Read labels to verify quantities, part numbers, descriptions, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 Year Manufacturing Experience.
  • Tugger Certification.
  • Stand-up and Sit-Down Certification.
