Summary of Job

Operate Stand Up Forklift (& Cherry-picker) Receive and pick product by following SOPs and work instructions. Receive, put-away, transfer & pick product according to procedure. Loading and unloading of transportation freight trucks. Other duties as assigned by clerk and or immediate superior.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Complies and enforces security norms and policies.
  • Complies with all safety policies.
  • Complies and enforces Good Distribution Practices (GDPs).
  • Complies and enforces Safety Quality Foods policies (SQF)
  • Organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Enjoys a hands-on work environment
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Materials Flow Control by utilizing Inventory Control Practices
  • Maintains work area clean and orderly (during and end of shift)
  • Transport (product, equipment, pallets, etc.) utilizing a motorized industrial vehicle.

Education and Qualifications

  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience operating forklift

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible shifts (flexible schedules)
  • Minimum lifting capacity 50 lbs

Technical Skills

  • Understand basic English
  • Comply with S.O.P. in SQF Archive
  • Good Basic Math Skills
