Summary: The HRIS Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), specifically the UKG platform. This role ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the HRIS to support HR functions and organizational goals. The HRIS Manager collaborates with various departments to optimize system performance, data integrity, and user experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

System Management & Optimization

  • Oversee the daily operations of the UKG HRIS, ensuring system integrity and performance.
  • Manage system configurations, upgrades, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and UKG support.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all HRIS modules.
  • Develop and implement system policies, procedures, and best practices.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Design and generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support HR initiatives and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to HR leadership.

User Support & Training

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for HRIS users to enhance system utilization.
  • Create and maintain user manuals, guides, and documentation.

Project Management

  • Lead HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure HRIS complies with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive HR data.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess system security and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing HRIS platforms, preferably UKG.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS management or a similar role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of team management experience.

Preferred:

  • Certification in HRIS or related systems.
  • Experience with system implementations and upgrades.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.

The approximate pay rate for this position is $80,000-$120,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
