SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Lead Developer to spearhead the development of innovative websites and web application platforms for our clients. In this pivotal role, you will not only guide a talented team of Full Stack developers but also actively contribute to the design, coding, and technical strategy that drives our projects forward. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for mentoring team members, setting coding standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, combined with your strong communication and collaboration skills, will be essential in working with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ATTRIBUTES

  • Lead fullstack development teams in designing, implementing, and deploying scalable websites and web applications.
  • Oversee both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and timelines.
  • Set and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
  • Drive agile methodologies.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Identify technical risks and provide innovative solutions.
  • Optimize websites and web applications for performance, ensuring fast loading times and efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure websites and web applications are accessible to all users, adhering to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ADA).

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ years of professional experience in fullstack development, with 1-2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Advanced proficiency in:
  • JavaScript, HTML (semantic), CSS (with preprocessors like LESS and SASS)
  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js and/or Vue.js, including component-based architecture, state management, and testing.
  • Proficiency in jQuery for DOM manipulation and event handling.
  • Backend development with Java (preferred), PHP, or Node.js
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong communication skills, written and spoken English proficiency.
  • Ability to manage and deliver complex software projects on time.
  • Experience on client-facing and/or consultative roles
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or Bloomreach.
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., code splitting, lazy loading, caching).
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices (WCAG, ADA).
  • Experience working with a headless CMS and related technologies.
