About this Position

The NSW State Sales Manager role offers the opportunity to drive sales performance across NSW, lead and develop a high-performing team, build strong customer and internal relationships, and play a key role in strategic decision-making through market insights, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration—all while ensuring compliance with environmental and corporate standards.

What you´ll do

  • Coordinate sales force deployment with Business Unit Managers, aligned to customer needs and priorities.
  • Lead, develop, and coach direct reports through performance reviews, KPI setting, and regular feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key state accounts, identify new opportunities, and ensure high service standards from the team.
  • Drive sales performance in NSW to meet targets; conduct regular team meetings and report outcomes to senior management.
  • Foster strong internal relationships across departments including production, supply chain, finance, and marketing.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and Henkel standards within the state.
  • Monitor and share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities with Business Units.
  • Track and report key KPIs such as state sales, profitability, account receivables, sales pipeline, pricing, T&E budgets, safety audits, and Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT).

  • Extensive experience leading diverse sales teams, with strong skills in mentoring, coaching, and motivating team members.
  • Proven track record in B2B industrial sales and business management, including setting forecasts, sales plans, and managing budgets.
  • Skilled in building strong customer relationships, handling queries and complaints, and applying deep product and industry knowledge.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, project management, and use of tools like Microsoft Office.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, sales, or technical fields, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
