Your role

Are you passionate about developing backend services? Will you open binary editors to get to the bottom of problems? Are you interested in joining an Agile and diverse team in Data Protection?

We’re looking for a .NET Backend Developer to design, develop, maintain, test, and enhance backend services to classify, encrypt and decrypt data. As part of your day-to-day job, you will:

• develop components/services
• integrate with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) APIs and services to create distributed and scalable applications
• collaborate with Product Owner, Architect and Pod members to convert business requirements into practical solutions that addresses customer needs
• test and monitor throughout the release phases
• be accountable for user satisfaction and system reliability
• perform code reviews and write automated CI/CD pipelines

Your team

Security is a global organization within Group Technology Infrastructure and Security Engineering. Our services focus on access management for applications and infrastructure, identity management for users, directories, detecting/preventing measures for cyber threats, and exchanging/storing data securely. We provide consolidated and reliable security services that implement secure design principles and create best-fit solutions.

You’ll be working in the Data Confidentiality Protection team in Pune. Our team is global, diverse, and collaborative as we work across organizations to keep our technology, applications and the businesses they support secure. Your expertise

• 4+ years of experience in backend software development in a corporate environment
• experience in Windows programming using C# and ASP.Net Core
• basic knowledge in one of the Script languages such as PowerShell/Python
• outstanding English communication skills and collaboration capabilities.
• independent, with internal drive and self-motivated
• self-learner with passion for technologies
• good to have experience with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Rights Management Services, and high scale systems
