The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
Product Management
Electronic Catalog (ACES & PIES) Management
Price Analysis and/or Price Management
Coordination with related departments – Purchasing / Customer Service / Marketing / North and Latin America Sales divisions.
Coordination with manufacturers / suppliers – US based and non-US based.
Perform market analysis including analysis of competitive landscape, market segmentation.
Manage product category in terms of profitability, market share, growth rate by market segment, and life cycle.
Perform product trend and product gap analysis. Analyze new product opportunities and market conditions through trade shows, customer visits, vendor visits, and field research.
Manage / create application data to assist in development of complete application catalogs.
