Mainframe Developer

Analyze, design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.

Perform impact analysis, technical design, coding, and unit testing.

Optimize and troubleshoot batch and online mainframe applications.

Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and provide production support.

Migrate and modernize legacy code and integrate with distributed/cloud systems.

Maintain technical documentation and adhere to software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices

Mandatory Skills

COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.

MQ-Series, and SQL

Mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning

Intertest and Abend-AID, ControlM

Agile methodologies

DevOps principles

Experience with APIs

Secondary Skills

Experience in financial or insurance domains

modernization tools and migration

Familiarity with CI/CD

Knowledge of QA Procedures

Critical thinking, problem solving Skills

Stock Plan is preferred

Excelent communucatiin
