Summary of Role

This position is for a Junior SPICE modeling expertise who will primarily work on the compact device model development with focus on SRAM and coordination between modeling and device team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Development of SPICE models for FET device covering SRAM, base band, high voltage, RF for GF technologies
  • Development of SRAM modeling with close interaction with Fab1 SRAM team
  • Foster a strong interlock between modeling and device team
  • Drive best practices in model extraction, QA/ validation & flow across model organizations
  • Working closely with Fab engineers on device characterization, Data analysis and Model Hardware Correlation & data acceptance criteria
  • Work with measurement and layout teams on modeling test chip generation to enable testing of wafers across different work sites/ regions
  • Provide technical support on customers' queries on SPICE model & help to resolve model related issues in a timely manner

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications

  • Master's in electrical engineering or physics
  • Must have in-depth Semiconductor device physics knowledge
  • Understanding of SPICE level simulators such as HSPICE, SPECTRE
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  • Excellent ability to meet tight deadlines, commitments and deliver customer requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a foundry environment supporting multiple technology nodes and products
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
