Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Content Production Manager to lead the execution of marketing content for our North America Performance Marketing (Demand Gen) team. You’ll manage a team of three Content Marketing Managers (content writers) and oversee the end-to-end production of campaign assets, including emails, landing pages, webinar promotions, eBooks, and white papers. You’ll partner with regional campaign leads and designers, manage external agencies and suppliers, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure content is delivered with speed, accuracy, and impact. As a senior manager within our regional campaign hub, you’ll play a key role in maximizing output by driving effective planning, resource allocation, and time management across the team. This is a new production model being introduced to the region, so we’re looking for someone who can bring structure, clarity, and strong production expertise—ideally shaped by experience in a marketing agency environment. Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing content delivery in a B2B-focused marketing agency or in-house marketing team, ideally supporting lead generation or direct response campaigns
  • Proven ability to lead content workflows, manage creative teams, and oversee external vendor and agency relationships
  • Demonstrated experience managing creative agencies and scaling resources through freelancers or outsourced partners
  • Experience leading a small team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Workfront) to manage timelines, task allocation, and resource planning
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; able to bring clarity to ambiguity and align cross-functional stakeholders around shared delivery goals
  • Background in B2B tech or software marketing strongly preferred

Location: Hybrid; 3 days per week from our Atlanta office (Ponce City Market)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of content production for North America marketing campaign assets, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with campaign leads to understand content requirements, prioritize deliverables, and allocate work effectively across the team using Workfront.
  • Lead a team of three Content Marketing Managers (content writers), fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers, including budget planning and resource scaling as needed.
  • Maintain quality control and consistency across all outputs, ensuring alignment with Sage’s brand voice and tone.
  • Drive workflow improvements and job sequencing to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks across the production process.
  • Act as the point of coordination between creative stakeholders, campaign owners, and internal partners across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Serve as a brand steward for North America campaigns, ensuring that all content reflects Sage’s standards and messaging.
