The Supply Chain Operations team at Aurora is looking for a strategic and hands-on Staff Operations Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex hardware programs from concept through production. This role is central to ensuring operational readiness across the supply chain - coordinating procurement, scheduling, vendor engagement, and manufacturing execution to deliver world-class products on time and at quality.

In this role, you will

  • Lead and execute new product introductions and development builds with internal and external partners, ensuring parts availability and overall build quality.
  • Own end-to-end material readiness, including procurement, production planning, inventory, and coordination across different supply chain tiers.
  • Develop strong partnerships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment on build readiness, risk mitigation, and delivery timelines.
  • Analyze design status, component availability, and production capacity to ensure readiness across all program phases.
  • Serve as the central operations lead in cross-functional teams—supporting Ok2Build/Ok2Ship gates, risk reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Drive internal production schedules to meet demand plans, while clearly communicating milestones and risks to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and sub-tier suppliers to align on material requirements, delivery schedules, and production readiness.
  • Provide transparent program status reporting to leadership and cross-functional partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or program management roles in hardware-focused industries.
  • Proven success managing complex hardware builds in industries like semiconductors, aerospace, automotive, or robotics.
  • Strong project management skills: ability to set clear priorities, solve complex problems, and drive outcomes across teams.
  • Experience working with internal and external manufacturing, vendors, and engineering teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable leading cross-functional meetings and presenting to executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with program management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Gantt, dashboards).
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Supply Chain/Operations) and formal supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, PMP).

This role requires the ability to travel up to 25% to support vendors, manufacturing partners, and critical program milestones on-site.

The base salary range for this position is $129,000-$207,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
