Description
Burns & McDonnell is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager in the Corporate Quality Department responsible for the development and execution of quality initiatives which support all the Global Practices and Locations. This will be an in-office position.
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leadership of enterprise-wide quality initiatives and supporting the implementation of the Burns & McDonnell Quality Management System within Global Practices and Locations. This includes supporting and executing business strategy, delivering winning solutions, developing high performance teams, and promoting the Burns & McDonnell culture, values, and mission in working closely with project teams and procurement professionals to develop and implement planned and systematic activities to ensure the quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead quality initiatives in a dynamic and profitable manner based on Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.
Job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the effective development and implementation of policies, procedures, work instructions, and guidelines that can be utilized for all BMcD GPs and Locations.
- Drive process improvement in project execution and organizational quality management
- Support implementation of the Burns & McDonnell Quality Management System within Global Practices and Locations
- Recommend continual improvement strategies and lead or participate in continual improvement projects
- Coordinate, monitor, and implement training programs related to quality
- Coordinate with all GP and Location Quality Managers to share best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Assist in implementation of GP and LOC quality programs.
- Support projects and proposals to summarize the BMcD corporate quality program.
- Coordinate with Supplier and Construction Quality.
- Support implementation of Knowledge Capture Program to be utilized across BMcD
- Conduct ISO 9001:2015 and project performance-based audits
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Support improvement and utilization of quality metrics
- Support Corporate Best Practice Library development
- Implement Corporate Quality Events and Communication
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited curriculum.
- Minimum 7 years related experience.
- Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees and management.
- ISO 9001:2015 experience preferred.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training preferred.
Compensation
$110,000.00-380,000.00
