Lead Java Full Stack Engineer ( Angular & AWS)
The Lead Engineer will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining software solutions within the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain. With a focus on AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL the candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business needs. The position offers a hybrid work model with day shifts allowing for a balanced work-life integration.
Location: Texas City - TX USA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust software applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular JS to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions within the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain.
Implement and manage AWS services to enhance application performance and reliability.
Optimize SQL and MySQL databases for efficient data retrieval and storage.
Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to maintain system integrity and performance.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Engage in active communication with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.
Document software designs and technical specifications for future reference.
Qualifications
Must have skill: Postgres
Possess a strong understanding of AWS services and their application in software development.
Demonstrate expertise in Java Spring Boot and Angular JS for building scalable applications.
Have a solid grasp of SQL and MySQL for database management and optimization.
Exhibit proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development.
Show experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain to understand business needs.
Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The annual salary for this position is between $87k- $141k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
