The Engineering Technician performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

What to expect:

• Utilizing Good Manufacturing Practices maintain, test, calibrate and repair production and prototype equipment, product and related subassemblies per specifications and document results with operations and engineering.
• Ensure that design implementation, test, and maintenance methods are developed and executed in a manner that supports quality standards.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis activities.
• Assist with installation of customer hardware and software.
• Participate in failure analysis investigations and documentation of findings via NCR process.
• Edit procedures - Assist with creation and updates of procedures and TLS.
• Participate in the implementation of process improvements.
• Fabricate cables and PCBA to support manufacturing and equipment.
• Assist with the execution of equipment verification and validation protocols. Maintain and promote a safe work environment. Identify, address, and react to any unsafe or hazardous situations.

What we expect:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Agile and Oracle
• IPC-610 and IPC-620 Certified
• Ability to hand solder
• Strong ability to read schematics and engineering documents
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and processes
• Knowledge of 6S
• Ability to effectively work well with others

The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $50,000 to $74,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
