  • Conceptualize, plan and lay out designs for stores requested through Job Orders while ensuring that these artworks are done within established and approved processes and specifications.
  • Complete projects by coordinating with, but not limited to, Job Requestor/s, appropriate internal departments, external agencies, external suppliers, etc.
  • Obtain final approval of concept from Job Requestor.
  • Maintain updated technical knowledge by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and/or keeping abreast of current design trends.
  • Perform other related and/or similar tasks that may be assigned from time to time
  • Collaborate with designers in finalizing and ensuring that construction details are up to standards.
  • Represent SPH with third party suppliers in terms of discussing objectives, requirements, and budget of projects.
  • Ensure that all produced drawings have complete details and with correct specifications.
  • Determine and specify the nature and quality of materials required for the execution of the plans.
  • Ensure that contractors execute the agreed plans to specific standards.
  • Adjusts plans according to circumstances or problems that may arise during construction.
  • Resolves all construction-related problems that may arise.
  • Conduct regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget.
  • Create weekly progress reports for submission to the Creative Head.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts major in Advertising / Industrial Design is preferred

At least 2-3 years working experience preferably in the retail, interior and construction industry

Experience in store planning, visual merchandising and has strong technical skills

Experience with Furniture design for construction including drawing sections, isometrics and perspectives is a plus

Good in conceptualizing designs and space planning

Has to continuously research market trends and update themselves with the changing taste of the consumer.

Well organized with good eyes for details

Ability to work independently and interact/communicate with all levels

Positive attitude towards work Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments.

Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines.

Must have technical knowledge of the following: 2D-3D Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) SketchUP Pro, Lay-out, V-Ray

A plus if has skills for Web design and Video Editing

1. Dreamweaver, HTML 5, etc.

2. Premier Pro, After Effects
