Central Woodwork, Nashville Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the outside city salesmen and provide customer service to contractors as needed. This is accomplished by acting as a point of contact for outside salesmen by walking houses, reading plans, processing quotes and orders. This position works closely with all five of our outside contractor salesmen as well as communicating with our current inside contractor sales coordinators.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Previous knowledge and experience in the building materials industry
  • Ability to read plans and understand construction practices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, priorities and coordinated work activities
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to participate effectively as a team member

Responsibilities

  • Assist the outside salespeople, ensuring that sales and profit goals are met
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with contractor customers by providing superior customer service
  • Act as a point of contact between all departments at CWW by coordinating information between sales, receiving, production and shipping
  • Process orders and ensure that materials are available for timely shipment
  • Perform material take-offs from lists and floor plans in a timely manner
  • Grow in product knowledge in order to provide accurate take-offs and adequate support for customers ans salespeople
  • Effectively use quoting software for quotes/orders in order to bid jobs successfully. Software includes Ponderosa, Sierra Pacific, Jeld-Wen, MGM, Woodgrain, Hoelscher, Integrity and Masonite
