Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview:
We are seeking DevOps Engineers at both junior and mid levels to play a key role in the development, operations, and lifecycle management of mission-critical applications. This position requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and a commitment to system performance, security, and reliability.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Implement and support Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Integrate and operate within cloud environments (AWS, Azure) including services like OpenSearch, EKS, and Azure AD.
- Automate system configuration, security scanning, and deployment workflows.
- Use DevOps toolchains: Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, JIRA, Nexus, SonarQube, Artifactory, and HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul, Boundary).
- Monitor and maintain system performance and security using tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, and third-party monitoring platforms.
- Configure and manage services to support auto-scaling, resilience, and failover capabilities.
- Create and maintain machine images (e.g., AMIs, AVMs) and automate DevOps tasks across multiple secure environments.
- Respond to and resolve system issues and user tickets, including critical incident support outside normal hours.
- Contribute to the engineering and enhancement of cross-domain solutions for file transfer and system interoperability.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 5 years of experience required for Mid-Level.
- 1 year of experience required for Junior-Level.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Terraform.
- Java, JavaScript, JFROG
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong scripting skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Ability to monitor and manage application health, security, and performance.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation and SOPs.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in secure environments or government systems.
- Familiarity with Cross Domain Systems, network segmentation, and enclave management.
- Exposure to full application development lifecycles, especially in secure or classified settings.
- Experience with COTS integration into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
