Title III- EL Parent & Pupil Services Title III Bilingual Parent Involvement Liaison Position: Title III Bilingual Parent Involvement Liaison

Position Time Frame: October-September for up to 10 months.

Total Pay Amount: $15,750 This position is fully funded by Title III EL

Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour, up to 15 hours per week x 30 weeks for the SY26 school year. (approx. 450 hours this school year). This is a non-benefited position.

  • The Title III Bilingual Parent Involvement Liaison will support the district’s Title III team with providing effective communication on services for ELs, resources, technology access, family involvement, and provide information to parents of ELs that will lead to successful learning experiences for English Learners.
  • The Title III Bilingual Parent Involvement Liaison will serve families of ELs from the district level. This position is fully funded through Title III. The Title III Bilingual Family Involvement Liaison would work closely with the ESOL & Title III Department and Family & Student Services Department to provide much needed support to families of ELs.

Duties include:

  • Provides training and support to parents/families of ELs in the use of instructional resources and collaborates with the development of materials for educational support of ELs and their families.
  • Serves as the liaison between district Title III Program and parents of ELs, relaying the needs of one to the other.
  • Collaborates with Title III Coordinator on Title III EL Parent & Pupil Services budget to ensure expenditures are necessary and ensures that all allocated parenting funds are spent during the current school year.
  • Available to meet individually with parents to redeliver information from EL workshops that they were unable to attend. Provide tips, strategies and resources based on individual parent needs.
  • Collaborates with Title III district leadership on district-level parent communication of EL Parent & Family Engagement events/program/activities via flyers, school website, social media, text messages, phone calls, and school/classroom monthly newsletters for all Title III parents and families.
  • Participates in monthly training workshops as required by the Title III Office.
  • Establishes relationships with local partners in education and community agencies in order to assist parents in accessing community resources or services outside of Title III.
  • Performs other such duties that are directly related to Title III as may be required.
