Tuvli is looking for an Operations Manager - Network and Systems Management to work in Alexandria, VA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as central point of contact for any IT Operational issues.
  • Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of client's enterprise networks and projects. monitoring and managing all aspects of IT operations to ensure they meet performance metrics.
  • Provide leadership, project and activity planning, coordination, and day-to-day direction as needed, produce required deliverables and meet the relevant operations/project milestones.
  • Manage multiple IT teams/managers to include network, system administration, systems security, Tier 1/2 Help Desk with team ranging in size from 5-15 team members.
  • Analyze current operations practice to identify areas for improvement and create project management deliverables.
  • Provide management oversight of all other contract employees.
  • Foster a collaborative environment.
  • Work directly with client's program manager and develop an outstanding customer relationship.
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain staffing plan by recruiting and interviewing new contract personnel.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline is preferred.
  • Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) is a plus.
  • Ten years of IT and management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.
  • Minimum DoD interim Secret clearance.
