POSITION TITLE: Desktop Support Technician
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide technical support for internal desktop systems, both hardware and software. Receive, prioritize, document and resolve end user help requests, escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner. Answer and record incoming support calls. Able to resolve majority of tickets without assistance. Customer satisfaction rating of 4.0 or higher.
Configure PCs/Laptops. Install/setup computer from scratch (hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals). Support remote users. Deliver, tag, sets up, and assists in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals. Perform minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
Become the expert in supporting at least on key product. Create documentation relating the key products.
Perform inventory maintenance. Update appropriate information in order to track company assets. Order hardware or software per user needs. Manage hardware inventory using asset management tool.
Provide telephone setup, assist with logins, support/troubleshoot phone issues.
Understand the configuration and to be able to support multiple Operating Systems: examples: Windows 10, Windows 11 and MAC OS X.
Provide support of Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices via current mobile device management (MDM) solution.

Salary Minimum
$50,000.00
Salary Maximum
$60,000.00
Base salary will be determined on various factors, including but not limited to, market data, internal equity, relevant background, and experience for the specified role. GUESS?
