The mission of this role: Embedded Software Buyer / Contract Specialist supporting the procurement team in maintaining the contract database and suppliers’ audit compliance.

Contract term: 1 year, with the possibility of extension for up to 2 additional years.

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Managing contract database (contract start, ending, amendments) to drive appropriate action plan and escalations;
• Support Embedded SW and Semiconductors procurement category team in reviewing license agreements and alignment with Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams;
• Support the Procurement and Finance team in supplier audits in the Embedded Software and Intellectual Property category;
• Promote compliance with procurement processes and seek improvement opportunities for all procurement processes;
• Establish and manage relationships with internal customers/stakeholders across various business units;
• Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and support the engineering and platform strategy through vendor selection, identification of technology, and process improvements;
• Develop and manage requests for information/proposals (RFI/RFP), quotes, and information, including the collection of requirements, management of bidder communications, and the analysis of bid responses;
• Build relationships with key vendors, understand their business models and business priorities to identify any resulting commercial opportunities.

Qualifications: Positive and self-driven achiever with distinctive level-appropriate communication, presentation, and advisory skills.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Automotive Embedded Software Procurement or Sales in a large, internationally scaled, multi-site organization;
• Master's Degree in Economics with specialization in Commercial or Contract, or Intellectual Property Law;
• Fluent in spoken and written English;
• Excellent interpersonal and effective leadership skills;
• Experience in handling deadlines and efficiently organizing workload.

Reporting Structure: Reporting to the Embedded SW and Royalties manager within the Procurement team.
