As a Software Engineer in Mac, you will be responsible for developing and testing related to Endpoint Security products for both Consumer and Commercial. This role involves close collaboration with architects, project managers, developers, QA, and UI designers to develop products that satisfy customer needs, solve their problems, and achieve customer success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders on requirement discussions, cross-team integration, and issue resolution.
- Deliver features through the full development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Automate and enhance development and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with macOS and ability to troubleshoot environment/system-related issues.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Swift, Objective-C)
- Familiar with Xcode development tools and debugging utilities (e.g. Instruments, Console, Crash logs)
- Familiar with Apple app submission processes, including code signing, entitlements, sandboxing and Notarization
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD processes (e.g. GitHub Action)
- Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take on challenges.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in mobile (iOS/Android) development
- Experience in cross-platform frameworks (e.g. React, Flutter)
- Experience in publishing apps to the Mac App Store
