Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Deutsche Bank is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Endpoint Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating central responses to all sorts of security audit topics, and continuous help drive improvements for audit practices that ensure the overall integrity.

Your role will focus on coordinating and delivering solutions in response to audit findings. By creating a coordinated response from Engineers, Architects and Domain Leads, the Audit Manager will help creating an environment of technological solutions in compliance with current regulations and policies and maintaining Deutsche Bank’s high standards for audit and regulatory compliance.

This is a global role, which is part of a broader team and comprises of working with multiple engineering and architecture teams. Our approach follows a timely remediation of all open items and implementing industry leading standards on process controls and procedures to avoid future audit findings in our application landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive management of all aspects of the Endpoint Security team; managing the end-to-end delivery; produce high quality validation of audit and regulatory deliverables.
  • Determining team involvement and individual responsibilities for each audit validation.
  • Reviewing and providing expert opinions on action plans provided by clients, helping them effectiveness of controls at the time of issue closure validation is comprehensive and adequately documented.
  • Communicating the Banks/GA, plans and values within their teams and ensuring understanding and alignment.
  • Creating and reinforcing an environment where people management and development is a key priority and personally demonstrates their commitment to their immediate and the wider Function team.

Skills

  • Undergraduate or equivalent degree required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications preferred but not required.
  • Documentation of workflows, progress tracking, process controls, and checklists to protect from repetitive non-compliances in our engineering deliverables.
  • Relevant work experience, with professional/industry recognized qualifications; related qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Significant and relevant in-depth knowledge of risks, controls and associated regulatory developments.
  • Extensive audit experience within internal audit and / or the wider financial services industry.
  • Excellent management and planning skills, with the ability to positively drive change.
