Responsibilities

Subcontracting Management

  • Identify and define subcontracting needs in collaboration with management, and select subcontractors.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • In collaboration with the production team, monitor the deliverables schedule, taking into account technical, budgetary, and time constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements, scope, budget, and pipeline.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and all workflow steps required for delivering assets that meet defined quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison between the production team and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient task execution.

Technical Aspects Management

  • Define technical constraints related to characters and animated objects.
  • Integrate assets into the engine and ensure compliance with constraints and performance monitoring.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to the animation team.
  • Maintain a good balance between artistic goals and technical constraints.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Proactive in problem-solving.
  • Comfortable with asset management and exchange tools.
  • Proficient in Maya.
  • Skills in rigging and deformation (Body/Facial).
  • Team player with a strong sense of autonomy.
  • Knowledge of Blender and Houdini is a plus.
