Position is located 49 South Main Street, Concord- 36hrs full time with benefit eligibility.
We are flexible as far as a 4 or 5 day work week- rotating hours based on department needs covering 8am-530pm.
Opportunities to shift to hybrid schedule once fully trained and on good performance status.
Summary
The Surgical Scheduler performs a variety of complex duties across the enterprise in collaboration with medical office personnel, surgeons, hospital staff and patients. The Scheduler arranges operative and/or invasive procedural appointments for multiple hospital departments carefully coordinating services to ensure timely access to care. The scheduler is engaged in one or more of the revenue cycle roles for the surgical cases they schedule.
Education
Some additional training beyond high school, but less than an Associates Degree.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
None required.
Experience
One year medical office experience and/or training preferred. Experience with Medical and Surgical Terminology and automated scheduling systems required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate in a Windows based environment.
Hours
Rotating shifts between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm. No weekends, no major holidays.
