Overview

The End User Technology Engineer is responsible for supporting end-user devices and software, with a particular emphasis on setting up and implementing Microsoft Intune for device management. This role involves providing technical support, managing endpoint devices, and ensuring the smooth operation of our End User Technology solutions

Responsibilities

  • Intune Implementation: Set up and implement Microsoft Intune for device management, including configuration of policies, profiles, and applications.
  • Software Management: Deploy and manage software applications, including updates and patches.
  • Technical Support: Provide second-line support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems to ensure smooth operation.
  • User Assistance: Assist users with technical issues, providing guidance and training on the use of technology.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software installations, configurations, and issues resolved.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
  • Project Management: Manage IT projects related to end-user technology, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in setting up and implementing Microsoft Intune.
    • Experience with desktop virtualization and endpoint management.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory administration.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows operating systems.
    • Familiarity with SCCM/MECM administration.
    • Understanding of network configuration and mobile device management.
    • Scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell.
  • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
      • Effective time management and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
      • Attention to detail and adaptability.
