About the role

We are going through and exciting period of change and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MID/Senior Engineer (Front-end) to join our Software Engineering team. You will work as part of our exciting greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology.

As a MID/Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with your cross functional team to design and implement new features and products, whilst bringing ideas, energy, and leadership to the table.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high quality software that will delight our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse user requirements and translate them into testable features.
  • Integrate software with monitoring, observability, and support tools
  • Implement design patterns to ensure robust and scalable code
  • Use GitLab to manage source code, version control, and collaborative development
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Continuously research and stay up to date with new development trends and technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals for the applications

What you'll bring

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React or Vue)
  • Advanced mastery of technologies and frameworks like TypeScript, React, Node.js, ES6
  • Strong grasp of HTML and CSS & creating maintainable and scalable component libraries
  • Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs and exposure to graphQL Federation
  • Experience with microservices and event driven architectures
  • Experience working with cloud-based solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git/Gitlab/GitHub), and source control systems
  • Good understanding of RESTful services (JSON) and API Design
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching other software engineers
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
