Performs advanced project management work in the Research and Technology Implementation Division. Manages complex research projects impacting technologies, processes, policies, specifications, and materials. Work involves coordination of the project from initial concept through implementation, including monitoring the progress, scope, and schedule of projects; communicating with project monitoring committee members, academic researchers, project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties and working with relevant TxDOT offices to ensure successful implementation of project deliverables into TxDOT's business operations. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.
