Section 2 (Responsibilities):
- Safely operate printing presses, die cutters, bindery equipment, and other necessary equipment to produce specified products.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems such as: ink systems, air systems, dies, boxes, plates, and cylinders.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Keep accurate records of product produced and waste generated.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Wear protective clothing as required.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement ideas.
- Train new employees as needed.
- Work safely around moving parts and hot surfaces.
Section 3 (Qualifications):
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer print production processes preferred.
- Ability to read and understand print specifications.
- Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Available for overtime as requested.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software helpful.
