Business Environment
The Reservation area is central to many Amadeus products, managing critical steps in trip reservation including booking, ticketing, and Passenger Name Record (PNR) management.
Within the Travel Services and Reservation (TSR) division, the BSM department supports a wide range of booking features for travel and ancillary services—whether online or offline, via EDIFACT or New Distribution Capability (NDC). We manage orchestration processes and their representations in the PNR.
As the travel industry evolves rapidly, we are engaged in key projects across both travel agency and airline business domains, including the Universal Distribution initiative (UDIP), Star Alliance, and the transition to the Offer/Order model (Nevio). We are also completing our migration to the Cloud and continuously improving through initiatives like Software System Improvement (SSI) and proactive maintenance streams.
