Senior FP&A Analyst

Summary:

Japan Senior FP&A Analyst supports various functions including operation to commercial as a business partner who provides financial insight to achieve aggressive growth. This role coordinates/supports budget and forecast processes regionally as well as runs monthly/ quarterly reviews. Additionally, this role interacts with Operation Finance to set-up accurate/ actionable SKU based EBITDA to drive quick actions to improve EBITDA/ Working Capital. Lastly, this role runs various types of financial analytics to provide valuable advice to the functions. This position interacts with global FP&A team and global project team as necessary.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support budget and forecast process and coordinate the timeline regionally/ globally.
  • Support FP&A Manager by liaising with other functions to run monthly review (vAOP, vPY, vPM) with key stakeholders to provide financial insight.
  • Provide SG&A details analysis (vAOP, vPY) by functions to support growth.
  • Provide sales analysis by Segments and by materials including a list of negative margins.
  • Provide various analytics like buy/lease, BEP for Capex projects.
  • Perform monthly close for Sales/ SG&A to close by Day 3.
  • Flexible to perform several ad-hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in industrial finance.
  • Self-starter and proactive enough to drive changes.
  • Solid English communication/ interpersonal skills to work with global team.
  • Strong PC and systems familiarity: excellent MS Office Suite skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
