What You'll Do:

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be at the heart of our software development lifecycle, taking ownership from concept to deployment and beyond. You'll not only be a key contributor in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining our critical software applications but also a guiding force for our junior developers. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our technical direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust solutions.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

• Lead the Charge: Participate in the full software development lifecycle – from initial research and design to flawless deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Innovate and Improve: Proactively identify opportunities for process and system enhancements, ensuring changes are seamless and don't impact existing systems.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Foster clear and effective communication within the team and across functional areas, working closely with Business Analysts to translate business needs into technical masterpieces.
• Mentor and Empower: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior software developers, sharing your knowledge and experience to elevate the entire team.
• Shape the Future: Contribute to the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools and technologies that will drive our innovation forward.
• Plan and Execute: Participate in project planning and estimation activities, ensuring projects are well-defined and delivered successfully.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• 7 years of progressively more complex experience in software development
• Experience managing software development and technical development tasks
• Experience with Agile development life cycle preferred
• Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team
• Ability to interpret internal customer requirements into detailed functional and/or design specifications and experience
• Experience with validation support and data management
• Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and a commitment to quality work
• Ability to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends; be available off hours for on call support as required
• Comprehensive knowledge of large multi=office network engineering and telecommunications
• Ability to clearly and effectively present written information and findings
• Ability to work with other employees from different program area
• Minimal travel may be required
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred
