Summary:

The Senior Project Manager with 15 to 20 years of experience will oversee and manage complex projects within the R&D,

Preclinical, and Clinical domains, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards. With a focus on Benchling, GxP, and non-GxP processes,

the candidate will drive project success through effective planning, execution, and communication. This hybrid role requires strong bioinformatics expertise and project management skills to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of projects within the R&D Preclinical and Clinical domains to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Oversee project teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication across all stakeholders.

Provide expertise in Benchling GxP and non-GxP processes to enhance project outcomes and compliance.

Drive the integration of bioinformatics solutions to support research and development initiatives.

Manage project budgets and resources efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project progression and address any challenges.

Develop and implement project management methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory standards and company policies to maintain compliance.

Facilitate regular project meetings to track progress and resolve any issues promptly.

Utilize strong communication skills to articulate project goals and updates to stakeholders.

Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure quality and success.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution to safeguard outcomes.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within project teams.

Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in project management within R&D Preclinical and Clinical domains.

Demonstrate proficiency in Benchling and bioinformatics tools to support project objectives.

Have a strong understanding of GxP and non-GxP processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Exhibit excellent communication skills in English for effective stakeholder engagement.

Show proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.

Display strong analytical skills to assess project performance and implement improvements.

Hold a track record of successful project delivery within the specified domains.

Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Bioinformatics Professional

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 16th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $88,690 to $179,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
