Polysomnography Technologist – Night Shift

Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Elmira, NY

Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift

We are currently hiring a Polysomnography Technologist for the night shift to perform overnight sleep studies and provide exceptional care to patients with sleep disorders. In addition to a rewarding and specialized career path, qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct overnight sleep studies including diagnostic, PAP titration, MSLT, and MWT procedures
  • Apply electrodes and sensors according to industry standards and perform equipment calibration
  • Monitor and record data related to sleep stages, respiratory events, cardiac rhythms, limb movements, and more
  • Identify and respond to clinical events during the study, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Perform post-study duties including data review, scoring, equipment cleanup, and patient education
  • Collaborate with physicians and sleep center staff to deliver comprehensive care
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and documentation standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and routine equipment maintenance

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited Polysomnographic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program
  • Credentialed as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or eligible within 18 months of hire
  • Licensed in the State of New York as a Polysomnographic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, or Respiratory Therapy Technician
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
  • Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, bending, and manual dexterity required
