What You’ll Do:

In this vital role, you’ll coordinate daily administrative activities, ensuring seamless communication, organization, and documentation across the department. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Director/Manager, including implementing policies, updating records, and composing complex reports.
  • Coordinating departmental operations: staff scheduling, onboarding new team members, validating competencies, and facilitating smooth workflow.
  • Organizing meetings, training sessions, health fairs, and other key events.
  • Managing supplies and maintaining accurate inventories.
  • Monitoring quality improvement activities and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with billing, transcription, and scheduling as needed.
  • Acting as a communication hub—resolving staff and patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and keeping leadership informed.
  • Participating in departmental projects, research initiatives, and data analysis to support informed decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience; healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Leadership experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and report generation.
