What You’ll Do:
In this vital role, you’ll coordinate daily administrative activities, ensuring seamless communication, organization, and documentation across the department. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level administrative support to the Director/Manager, including implementing policies, updating records, and composing complex reports.
- Coordinating departmental operations: staff scheduling, onboarding new team members, validating competencies, and facilitating smooth workflow.
- Organizing meetings, training sessions, health fairs, and other key events.
- Managing supplies and maintaining accurate inventories.
- Monitoring quality improvement activities and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with billing, transcription, and scheduling as needed.
- Acting as a communication hub—resolving staff and patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and keeping leadership informed.
- Participating in departmental projects, research initiatives, and data analysis to support informed decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience; healthcare experience is a plus.
- Leadership experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and report generation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
